Coping with the Loss of a Child Through the Art of Closure
This isn’t just one unique therapy session, it’s the only one you’ll likely need. No repetition is necessary. In this healing therapy, we embark on a profound journey to find closure—a process that stitches, seals, and heals the deep wounds that have made life feel almost unbearable. Losing a child is a heart-wrenching experience, impacting not just parents and family, but echoing through the community—reaching neighbors, friends, relatives, and beyond. Each person copes with this tragedy in their own way. Yet, within the embrace of sacred tribal energy, there’s a little-explored path to mental, emotional, and spiritual healing, a path that remains effective even decades after the loss.
This healing acknowledges the interconnectedness of family as a tribe, understanding that if one member remains unhealed, the entire tribe suffers. In these therapy sessions, I encourage the involvement of at least two individuals, whether it’s just the parents or the whole family, including siblings, grandparents, and others. The session, conducted through a video call, unites everyone in a shared space, symbolizing the unity of the tribe.
No matter how many are present, the focus is on the shared journey of healing. You’re never alone in this process, even when it feels like you are. The sacred energy reconnection builds a healing bridge, linking family, heart, and the memories of the lost child. During the session, your child’s energetic essence is palpable—a presence felt in the heart, not a figment of imagination.
As the session unfolds, family members are invited to express their feelings, each person’s emotional essence silently contributing to the healing conversation. The subsequent therapeutic meditation delves into reflections and vivid memories from the child’s life, involving every family member. This powerful meditation acts as a catalyst, releasing the most painful emotional burdens within the family.
After the guided meditation, the focus shifts to integrating the emotions that surfaced during the healing session. This integrative element ensures a swift and lasting return to daily family life, unburdened by the weight of sorrowful memories. It’s crucial to acknowledge and accept that the child is no longer physically present but resides deeply within your heart, untouched by the brain’s programmed response to traumatic experiences.
The heart, separate from the mind, operates through energetic imprints, forming structures of varying vibrational frequencies. The lower the frequency, the denser the energy, amplifying the sense of loss and grief. The long-term goal of this therapy is to redirect and transform this energy into a healing unity. After the healing, family dynamics begin to shift immediately, and the desperate search for answers to the question “Why my child?” fades away. Your heart’s wounds are healed, sealed, and closed with a beautiful mutual understanding, transcending the density of grief into the harmonious unity of all things.
